A response to Ithaca Eats: Benchwarmers

I have been out of the Ithaca area for the past five years, but have found my way home often to visit family. Without fail, I have stopped into Benchwarmers to have a very solid and tasty meal. I believe that pereogies are the best appitizer on the menu. They are well cooked, and fantastic tasting! The Chicken-wing sub was my sandwhich of choice. I found it unique in my experience (extensive) to the "pub" type resturant. The lower cost beer was attractive, and seemed to keep the waitstaff moving (as their tip decresed every time I had to get my own drink). The place was warm, and attractive. It seemed to have a nice crowd. I would rate Benchwarmers (an athletic title - very appropriate for the city) an above average home for a fun and tasty afternoon.
