Southerners may not agree on everything, such as racial equality, but ask them about barbecue and the confederate flag flies mighty. And they will certainly agree that Northerners can't cook barbecue, real barbecue.
The good news is that they're probably wrong about that, too. The bad news is that Billy Bob Jack's is certainly no argument in our Northern favor.
To put it bluntly, you can cook a better, and cheaper, meal with a Sunbeam propane grill (those are the bad kind) and a frozen chicken. Buy a smoker of your own and you will out Jack the Shack by hundreds if not thousands of miles.
Perhaps we're quirky
about our meat, but when you can cook up so much, so good, on your porch,
in your underwear, why pay so much more for something so mediocre?
